If the vehicle sustains damage, will I need to have it recoated? After an accident, as part of the insurance claim, the paintwork needs to be recoated but the cost of this can be claimed from the insurance company with proof of purchase. I know they want every penny they can out of you, but why.

Also, when viewed down the length of the car, the paint now appears mottled rather than smooth and slippery!
